If you want to display your up to date ports on your FreeBSD system, use pkg_version:

  pkg_version -Ivl '='

You will see something like this:

pkg_version command output
ORBit2-2.14.19                      =   up-to-date with index
OpenEXR-1.6.1_3                     =   up-to-date with index
Sablot-1.0.3                        =   up-to-date with index
aalib-1.4.r5_6                      =   up-to-date with index
