Remove a GPT partition from a hard drive and add mbr PDF

If you want to destroy previously created GPT partitions and then prepare your hard drive to be used with mbr/style partition do the following:

First delete all partitions from the drive:

  gpart delete -i3 da0
  gpart delete -i2 da0
  gpart delete -i1 da0
            # asuming you have three partitions

Then destroy GPT:

  gpart destroy da0

Then create MBR:

  gpart create -s mbr da0
