[ERROR] Error reading packet from server: log event entry exceeded max_allowed_packet; Increase max_ PDF

If you get the following error (when you tried to configure MySQL replication) in your /var/db/mysql/*.err log file:

[ERROR] Error reading packet from server: log event entry exceeded max_allowed_packet; Increase max_allowed_packet on master;

then you must increase max_allowed_packet (which is 1M by default) to a higher value, for example:

  max_allowed_packet = 16M

This tip is for MySQL Replication.
