pfctl: DIOCSETSTATUSIF PDF

If you get the following error when trying to load PF firewall rules:

  pfctl: DIOCSETSTATUSIF

then the problem is that your rules use an interface name that do not exist on your sistem. Check your rules and type ifconfig to see if interfaces used in PF rules exist on your system.

This error could appear on FreeBSD and OpenBSD.
