Compile a port in FreeBSD using default values PDF
Monday, 03 October 2011
When we compile a port sometims a blue screen appear where we can chose compile options for a port. If a port has multiple dependencies, some of them will also have such blue screen with options to choose.
If we want to asume yes for default options that are already choosen and skip every screen of options we will use:

  make -DBATCH install

To see options for a port use:

  make config

You can also config options for every package that will be install when we try to install one package (every dependency) with:

  make config-recursive
