We can count number of concurrent connections on our FreeBSD Web server with netstat:

If we want to find all concurrent connections we will use:

  netstat -an | grep "ESTABLISHED" | wc -l

If we want to find only number of connections for HTTP port (80) we will use:

  netstat -an | grep "ESTABLISHED" | grep ".80 " | wc -l
