Today Quick Tip: Edit FreeBSD password files from /etc PDF

If we want to edit password file from /etc the best way is by using vipw(8) command:

  vipw

After we edited and modify the file vipw command will run pwd_mkdb(8) to update the password database.

The command uses vi editor.
