If you by mistake put an invalid mount point in /etc/fstab and then at next boot you are in single mode, there is a way to mount the root partition read-write at boot time, by setting the variable: set vfs.root.mountfrom.options=rw Then you can edit /etc/fstab to remove invalid mount option. |
