Today Quick Tip: Solve invalid mount options from fstab PDF

If you by mistake put an invalid mount point in /etc/fstab and then at next boot you are in single mode, there is a way to mount the root partition read-write at boot time, by setting the variable:

 set vfs.root.mountfrom.options=rw

Then you can edit /etc/fstab to remove invalid mount option.
